Yeah, although the name "simplified XML" is misleading like I wrote in

I think the only thing where it makes sense is for lists as well - 
however, if that's too hard or causes other problems we should abandon 
that as well. Users are much better of if they can pick their prefered 
input method themselves. That should be a goal IMO.
