Hi Jason, I'm very interested in how this works out - I am a big fan of D.
I haven't quite take the full plunge - Lazarus is still in C since I discovered the optimizations in D are not quite state of the art. I have learned that recent releases are already better in this area and D is one of the hot new languages - at least for practical engineer types like us. So I'm keeping a close eye on D - I expect to be able to switch over to is soon once it becomes a little more competitive with C for execution speed.
