As long as we are no where near perfect play on 9x9,
it would be presumptuous to claim to know the perfect komi.
Thus, he current fractional komi can also be considered an
admission of our ignorance about perfect play.
Computer programs are pretty good at 9x9. Their games against each
other provide evidence that 7.5 komi (with Chinese rules) is too high.
