bot authors should test version of the their 9x9 programs that try to
implement integer komi.   They could test against versions that don't
implement iteger komi but play only for the win.

I don't see a problem with simply playing for a win always.   If integer
komi is 7 then choose 6.5 or 7.5 based on what color the program has and
play for the win.

It might be possilbe to not hurt the playing strength too much if you find
you are losing or struggling to adjust the komi slightly to allow for a
draw.

A way to utilize MP is to run multiple versions with different komi's and
somehow integrate the results.
