We just got a new Dell Inspiron 518 with Vista SP1 Home Premium
Edition and it comes with a built in Realtek audio. We also got a set
of Dell AX210 speakers that have the audio cable and a USB cable we
assume is to get the power for the speakers via a USB port. We tried
everything we could including checking all audio settings, updating
the audio drivers, changing all volume and audio profile settings,
uninstalling Realtek drivers and software, re-downloading and re-
installing, trying front and rear ports, and trying a known working
set of speakers, and even though the systems "appears" to be sending
audio, not a peep comes from either set of speakers.

We have customized a ton of stuff and migrated all our email stuff so
we're worried if it's hardware problem that they will need the whole
tower back, customizations and all. Just wondering if anyone have any
other suggestions to try.

Any and all help greatly appreciated.
