He already tried using the registry. Are the windows cds mirrored
copies or all retail singles? The os disks could be damaged through
the years from scratches and what-not. My teacher encountered a
similar problem which affected several computers. We used the same os
disk continously and made mirrored copies of it. The disk itself could
be the problem leaving corrupted files from its condition.
