Hello all, For those of you who know me by now, I'm fairly knowledgeable when it comes to PC/information technology issues, but I'm unsure what to proceed with next for this particular issue.
I'm on my laptop, a Toshiba AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-core TK-57 1.90Gz Running 32-bit WinVista with 2.00GB of RAM. I am experiencing serious lag when I write into a text box, but the thing is, it's only about every 10 seconds or so and it lasts for about 2 seconds or less, needless to say something is causing this laptop to slow down when I'm typing as I have no issues at all like this on my desktop which is of similar specs. I've tried task manager and I don't seem to have any particular application which is hogging all of my resources, but perhaps it's just something I'm not aware of. I try to ventilate the underside of my laptop the best I can, but not sure it would be causing this kind of an issue where the lag is so specifically timed and these intervals and always for the same period of time. Any ideas on software I could use to analyze my system and see where the issue or problem lies? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Computer Tech Support" group.
