I would say FireFox runs much like Internet Explorer, try to tone down
the security settings and make sure no add-ons are running. Make sure
temp files are cleared and also be sure that you are not saving 1000MB
of temp files, change that number to around 8MB or so, that should
help; it is possible that firefox is saving the entire website and
slowing down before you are allowed to type in the box.
