ok well lets see, if i remember right, non preemptive means that no process could go into running state before the other take's its whole time then goes into ready state and waits, like no interruptions right ? does that mean there was no ctrl-alt-del back then ? windows would suck without that, because you need to kill a process when ever you're using windows, or restart i guess.
