I'll check the tracert and see what I get back. Didn't think about the firewall but I would think if it was that it would be more repeatable and not just occasional. The drivers for the nic (built in) say they're current and it also reports it's working properly. I ran the repair wizard thing from MS when it wasn't working one time and it said it couldn't find any error with the network.
I have McAfee on there and was thinking of dumping that in favor for AVG or something else.
