This deals with the broadcast flag with Windows 7 : http://blogs.technet.com/b/teamdhcp/archive/2009/02/12/dhcp-broadcast-flag-handling-in-windows-7.aspx
I have found that when my PC can't connect and I reboot and it still doesn't connect, I can power it off, turn off my power source, hold down the power button on my Dell (with everything off) for about 20 seconds and I believe this resets the system cache (or something like that) but when I can't connect and I do this, as far as I can tell it gets on the next time I power up. At least I know this time I rebooted twice and powered off once all without being able to connect, when i powered off, did the trick with the power button, powered it up it got online first try. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Computer Tech Support" group.
