So apple has specially made video cards just for them? The hard drives are some new apple technology? It's not the same intel chip as in pc's? Some Apple designed intel chip? New RAM only available to macs?

If you had you could not possibly say this. The inside of a Mac is just as innovative as the outside. While the insides of PCs have not changed in decades the insides of Macs change all the time. This makes my work a bit harder, but it is also a pleasure to see all the clever (and sometimes dumb) things Apple does with each new hardware design. Go to an Apple Store at a non-busy time and take the cover off a G5 tower. (Yes they will let you look inside.) What you will see does not look like the insides of any PC. You may find a few parts that could also be used in a PC, but the ensemble is very different. And even the PC-like parts often have a few Apple-requested tweaks. ************************************************************************ * ==> QUICK LIST-COMMAND REFERENCE - Put the following commands in <== * ==> the body of an email & send 'em to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] <== * Join the list: SUBSCRIBE COMPUTERGUYS-L Your Name * Too much mail?
