I would not think the fellow is going to give up use of the internet. I have posted a query to him as to his thoughts of somehow continuing the group somewhere. However, as it is, the Konica-Minolta line of cameras, film as well as digital, are now orphaned, and orphaned products are hard to keep a group actively interested in because there will be no new developments. Sony has obtained the rights to much of the K-M digital camera technology and lenses, and is now producing the products that will continue the ability of K-M owners to upgrade. Only time will tell if Sony continues with the K-M design and implementation philosophy.
