State of Delaware schools use Blue Coat, http://www.bluecoat.com/. Try their free K9 home version, http://www.k9webprotection.com/. It uses a web-based database. Unless your kids are fairly young, they'll get around it soon. Best thing about it --> it's free. Platform: Windows. FAQ claims that a Mac version will be available late in 2007--maybe.

Can't OpenDNS <http://www.opendns.com/> also do this [better]? Have children figured out how to get around this too? Create an OpenDNS account and try their controls. Use secure alphanumeric passwords on your router/modem/airport.

Then talk to the kids and explain what you're doing, but not how to do it.
