What a mess. I'm allowed to call it that because at one point you actually admit "I can't remember WHAT was on that drive!".
Hard drives are only temporary storage. Especially removable (external) drives will lose formatting from time to time. Not a big deal, especially if there wasn't anything important on it. Just reformat it. You could try to recover data on it, but it's been my experience that can take DAYS and in the end you're left with useless files anyway. I can't recommend much else because I have no idea why you've got so many drives hooked up or what you do with them. Try to consolidate.
