My youngest used to work fast food.
I was in the restaurant one night when a bus pulled in 15 minutes
before they closed.
Need less to say it was turned away.
I happen to know the owner so I mentioned it to him that week, and he
was livid. They did not want to serve the bus as they might not
close on time which mean they might not get cleanup done on time.
Sometimes it is a juggling act as the owner/manager is told keep
labor costs down, but then serve everyone!
It gets hard juggling the different messages given.

Well, I have the best staff on the planet, for the mission. I am comfortable
as a manager with any of them assuming command in my absence.
As assigned, of course.
I don't think they all have my same management style, but they share
my priorities and they know the mission.
And that is a good thing.
