Where are these records stored in OS X, XP and Vista?

I really hate Flash on the Internet. It's totally inappropriate except for videos. It's the perfect example of a technology that was developed for one purpose and is used as a band-aid to make up for bad code written for browsers. It may be the fault of Adobe and its notorious tendency to create bloatware. Flash was fairly friendly in earlier incarnations.

Even if the file is small it takes too long to load anyway. Worst is that I can't open multiple links from a flash page that has multiple links. The only way I can do that is to set my browser so that new tabs open with the same URL as the previous tab and go to multiple links through multiple tabs, one by one. That's a step backwards. Unless Flash can be programmed as being more friendly and less intrusive, there should be less of it.

Flash works well for videos, but not for anything online that has to be interactive connecting to multiple pages/links. It doesn't work, even for 20Mbps broadband, and it's a disaster with 1Mbps broadband. When you right-click, all you get are Flash settings, not link/save choices. Thank goodness for *FlashBlock*!!!

How do you get rid of the hidden files? Is there a script/macro?

Betty
