It is written for a strong arm processor and not intel/amd for sure. But it is already a touch OS.

There are two different versions. One for smartphones like the Motorola Q that does not use touch but buttons and suck for commands. (Similar to a mouse) the other one for PPC's which is touch based which mine is.

I would hope they have learned from one for the other. It also is fairly stable and works well.
