Failing to quote is just being a pain, making things harder for everyone else.
Quill pens aside, I agree. A little stick time on USENET will pretty much educate a person in a hurry as to what the consensus standards are.
Bottom quoting is for bottom feeders. I believe we have all been taught to read from the top of the page to the bottom of page.
