Hello all: I'm emailing you from the Apple store in Tyson's Corner, Virginia, a few steps from the genius bar, and just learned that the hard drive of my 2007 MacBook failed, and that's why I couldn't boot up. And, since I'm 21 days past my warranty, I have to buy a new one. Is replacing a hard drive something a layman can do? I I wanted to make lemonade out of lemons, what would you replace the 07 10 Gig hard drive with? Maybe the failure is why Apple sold this to me as a refurbished machine to begin with? I'm really disappointed, but at least the replacement could potentially cost less than $100 if I shop wisely. And, at least the screen still works. unlike my other unhappy computer ending.
Thanks, Arnold ************************************************************************* ** List info, subscription management, list rules, archives, privacy ** ** policy, calmness, a member map, and more at http://www.cguys.org/ ** *************************************************************************
