I uninstalled AVG, CPU usage dropped to around 2%, yet loading is still slow.

Re. DNS settings, think I have them at what the ISP originally set
them at or said to set them at.  Still can't use IE, which used to be
fast when had this problem with FF before.  Guess I should re-install
AVG?  But what else can I do or try?  Call the ISP tech support, which
means not getting anyone until maybe Monday?
