I always switch to the Classic Start menu as well. The non-classic seems to be a random jumble of links, rather than a simple hierarchical and expandable lists of functional areas.
In Vista, it works the same as in XP and 2000. However, I will say that I like the design philosophy behind the "ribbon" in Office 2007, where the toolbar and menu concepts are combined. It makes remarkable sense, but it does take getting used to. I have one staffer who's quick link toolbar stretches across the top of his screen. > -----Original Message----- > I have always used XP in Classic style also.
