I like the "persistence" of shortcuts in a folder, when the folder is full to 
overflowing.  I find the start menu difficult to deal with when it is too large 
and has to be scrolled to find something.  Yes, I know I can orgainze the start 
menu hierarchically, but I've never taken the trouble to do so.
