A friend of mine keeps forwarding formatted email from Mac Mail. It
arrives in my mail as a collection of disjointed pictures and broken
links, with full headers. I use Thunderbird for my email client. Haven't
been able to reproduce the jumble in either program.

What kind of settings in Mail could cause that? I guess she forwards
email by clicking on the Forward button in the toolbar. I don't know if
"Redirect" [in menu] will make a difference, mostly because she hasn't
done it yet, AFAIK.

She said tonight that other people get jumbled email from her too.
Is there a MIME setting in prefs to fix that? The default format is RTF,
which is odd, since it's nonstandard for email. I never liked Mac Mail.
This gives me another reason to dislike it even more. I don't think it's
Yahoo email problem because hers are the only messages I receive like
that.

Is this any help:
MIME-version: 1.0 (Apple Message framework v624)
X-Mailer: Apple Mail (2.624)
Content-type: multipart/mixed; boundary=Apple-Mail-12-178195691

Betty
