You just got entered into Radio Shacks database of customers!!!!
There was no reason for them to see the letter. That is like asking
for the letter you get with your credit card.
The store simply scanned the card and would file with the feds to be
reimbursed for the $40 discount they gave you.
The number on the card mattered.
That is like the old excuse that sores used to give you tog et your
phone number when you presented a credit card. It was simply to
enter into their database. Your phone # is not linked to your credit card.
Now I do have to enter a billing zip code when I get gas pout of
state but that is fine, it is info the CC company already has.
