Alabama. Property tax on a 300K house in town I live in would be
maybe $1400 a year. Most towns in the area, would be less than a
$1000.00. If it were in the county, maybe $500.00

My son lives in San Diego. They've got a 4 bedroom home with 2
bathrooms and 2 car garage and pool. It was 350k about 10 years ago.
But they actually had the money to pay for it. Imagine that, someone
showing some responsibility and forethought before buying!
