A Wii is not made to be a gaming machine like a PS3.
The Wii is aimed more at families and at those who may no longer have
children around the house, while a PS3 is aimed at Gamers.
My 70 some in-laws bought a Wii and they do not play Tom Clancy or
anything like that. It is more a part of their fitness regime.
Nintendo found a niche and developed a product for it.
Smart marketing move.
