If you're dead-set on upgrading to Win7, then yes, upgrading from the upgraded Vista *should* work, but nothing is for sure at this point, since it's still in beta. The good news is that installing Windows 7 doesn't take as long as it did with XP. It's about 20-30 minute clean install.
