Possibly. I wouldn't do it; I'd prefer a matched pair. However, our own experiences with wireless has not been good. While one imagines oneself having more freedom, say, to lean back in a chair, in fact you can't do that because you need to be close to the monitor to read stuff. Darned silly to have the wireless just sitting right on the desk where the wired stuff always was.
OTOH, a wireless mouse for a notebook is good. Look for the one with the really short USB plug that doesn't stick so far out you're always worried about breaking it off.
