However, he did not build his case against styli upon any foundation other than his own personal aversion to them which was amply illustrated when he said, "Yuck," along with the addition of three other reasons. One, you have to obtain one, two, you have to put them somewhere when they are not in use, and three, they can get lost. To my ear, that describes virtually any product manufactured anywhere in the world, including those made by Apple. Completely nonsensical to me, but perhaps my view on that is limited because of my utter lack of imagination. Now, had Jobs stated some real technical reasons why styli are useless, not wanted by anyone and are actually "yucky," I could perhaps agree with his assessment.
