And it's "progress" because Jobs says so, I guess. I'd love to see someone try to draw some nice cross-hatched shading--regular but not geometrically perfect--using only a finger. Now, if Jobs had said, "We're not going to provide a stylus because iPad is not intended to be the tool of choice for CREATING detailed graphics", fine. That would make sense. I would accept that as a reasonable explanation.
