It's not possible to sue just the officials and not the school district. The chances of financial recovery are also too low to justify said suits too. If said officials were carrying out school duties then the School District is liable, it's that simple. I will repeat though, we and that includes those folks like me who actually know where Lower Merion is, that only the lawyers, school district officials and possibly the parents and students involved know all of the details.
