Oh - also, with the 555, you should already be able to use the "direct"
firmware upgrade. It's a bit of a pain, it involves booting your remote i=
nto
safemode before doing the upgrade, but should work nonetheless.

Looking at the 555 stuff, I can definitely whip out live 555 firmware
support this week.
