Well, you'll need to build from CVS. There's instructions on how to do that
in CVS. You'll need to build and install libconcord first and then build and
install concordance. It should be straight forward from the INSTALL files,
but let us know if you have any problems.

From there, you backup your firmware with:

  concordance -f/tmp/myfirwmarebackup

*IF* we support live mode for your remote, you can write firmware to the
remote with:

  concordance -F/tmp/myfirmwarebackup

Otherwise, you have to boot into safemode. To do this, unplug the remote
from USB, remove the battery, hold the off button. Keep holding the off
button while you re-insert the battery, and continue to hold it until it
boots into safemode. Once it's in safemode, reconnect USB. The screen on
some models will blink in safemode to let you know you're connected. Then
you can do a direct-to-firmware write with:

  concordance -F/tmp/myfirmwarebackup --direct

You can keep writing the same firmware over and over if you'd like.
