Ok. While I am not that anxious about flashing (in the hope that the
"safe mode" at least protects itself) I'd feel better if stuff like the
identity request works before attempting to reflash my 525.
I however will be glad to give assistance if you need some. In case you
don't have access to a 525 I am willing to test stuff for you.
