I'm wondering if anyone can help with the following: I am compiling responses
to the recent SC decisions from all points of view (mostly opinion pieces), and
have struck out so far in finding "liberal" critics of, say, Lawrence, on the
grounds of judicial interference. In the past we have had long discussions
about judicial activism and "megalomanical" judges (especially after some of
the federalism decisions). Has anyone seen such criticism of Lawrence that has
not come from "conservatives"? (I use the scare quotes simply to avoid debate
on the meaning of the terms; if you're not sure who qualifies, feel free to
send the cite along anyway.)
