Re issues B) and C), can you confirm this also works when a _virtual_ domain is
manually inserted in the header part of the vacation message (as opposed to the
autogenerated default primary domain)? So that the very first line in the
textbox where you define the vacation message reads:
"From: someuser@virtualdomain" (en), or
"De: someuser@virtualdomain" (fr), or
"Von: someuser@virtualdomain" (de)
according to the set locale
rather than
"From: someuser@primarydomain"
etc.
I recall having encountered the same issue a long time ago (while still on
SME8), and getting it to work as confirmed by Rudi in bug 6653, comment 70
