Just created same file in /etc/e-smith/templates/etc/init/ttyS0.conf and ran
/sbin/e-smith/expand-template /etc/init/ttyS0.conf followed by restart.
/etc/e-smith/templates/etc/inittab/85hylafax can also be deleted from el6
release
