1/ just imported and built a new version for smeserver 9:

your fix has been incorporated for the tty.
2/ for the chmod 0666, I need to know to which rpm owns the file ; please

3/ which version of hylafax are you using ?
for sme8 we where building it ourself :4.4.4, however some requirement to build
it against sme9 are not available ( libjpeg-devel.)
