Hi Brian,
some questions:
- does the remote machine already have got ssh connections with the backup
server? I mean, is the hostname or ssh keys or etc.... of the backup machine
completely new for the remote host?
I know by experience that "rests" of previous connections make => if so, you
should completely delete the existing ssh keys and knownhosts on the remote
machine.
- can you try to run affa with the standard ssh port to the remote machine?
- can you try to run affa with the no-standard ssh port to the local machine?
- can you run a manual rsync with the no-standard ssh port to the remote
machine? (ssh key shouldn't be asked)
Some question to other users: does somebody already have experience with this
case (remote host and no-standard ssh port)?
