Beian... a few thoughts.
Try ssh -v and see what's occurring.
I've had issues with ssh to v9 boxes. Sometimes it is due to lots of keys
and/or Autoblock. Sometimes... who knows.
I think it may be to do with iptables.... I have a post somewhere on the
subject I'll try & find. Have a look at the tables log to see if packets are
getting blocked.
My testbox on the VM suffers a lot. Ssh to the external IP fails, but works
happily over the ipsec vpn.
As such it may be more an issue with ssh (and another bug) than affa.
