Hi Dani, thank you for your opinion..
we did some tests and something is not working properly/as expected, so few of
us (it's a 4 hands job, mine excluded) tried to solve it.
no one knows better than you how the new qpsmptd and its plugins works, so your
opinion (again) is more than welcome.
unfortunately, we can't know who is using some features and which ones.. we
have/had something working and we'd really not break it..
I personally know people using all the whitelist features and it it's not gonna
work in the next release, they won't upgrade their servers.. it's not something
we really desire, isn't it?
I agree that patching qpsmtpd should be the last thing to do because (as you
said), "The existing is_immune function already checks for the whitelistsender
transaction note, which should be added by the whitelist plugin. If this is not
working, it must be investigated"
so, could you please share with us some info/give us some hints to do such kind
of investigation?
