Hi,
I was thinking about this too during I wrote the previous comment.....
My meaning: Affa is made for backuping and restoring data on the same system.
It is not a tool designed to upgrade SME8 to SME9.
Using a "special" way, we can use it for this purpose but in this case we have
to accept that all is not absolutely proper...
Maybe it works (and I think it too) without "--delete" for the upgrade from
SME8 to SME9 => should/need to be tested.
But the experiences I made are that using "--delete" works too (even if maybe
not necessary) and this way can help John.
@ John, you are right, this use to upgrade the SME should/could be written
inside of the wiki too, but IMHO it is more important to link the original
documentation of Affa (see comment #2) because there are supplementary settings
available for Affa (and to place an invoice RTFM).
Btw, using "--rise" to upgrade, I always check too that the repositories are
not for SME8 after the upgrade.....
