If this works from samba too then custom template is good enough for me, might
be worth mentioning in Wiki (I always thought this can only be done on Windows
Server, maybe Samba 4).
BTW, 'passwordstrength' is only available via db values or via
smeserver-password contrib. If it has to work with server-manager, this contrib
would be the right place with a few preset values (0 for none, 3, 10, 20, 50,
100 for example).
Thing is the contrib is not providing 40password. So probably the 40password in
e-smith-base needs to be updated to expand via a db value and
smeserver-password contrib to set this db value and possibly run an event to
reload pam config.
