Don't know if you noticed Frank, but there are now 2 kernels and 2 stage1
install images, you might try both pairs, maybe one will work better than
the other:

all-2.2.gz      2.2.19 kernel stage1
all.gz          2.4.4 kernel stage1
vmlinux         2.4.4 kernel
vmlinux-2.2     2.2.19 kernel

For stage2 both sets of modules are available.
