i have tryed working with rc1 yet i am wating for the burnt disk but with 
beta 1 on our 7200 bootX was the ticket. there was instuctions on the disk. 
not sure if it is the same for you ?

I got the screen for loading the modules and I tried several modules
including the MAC53c94 one which caused a Kernle Panic and I had to reboot.
I also tried the Mesh, and the Mace drivers as well.
