Question - completely frozen? How are you able to get to the kernel
message screen?
Can you manually try installing mesh from VT2?
modprobe mesh (a guess)
and see if that locks it up, before the Drakx step that triggers the
lockup.
Do you know what SCSI controller the machine has?
