Cmd(Apple)+Option+O+F while the system is booting.
At the prompt type:
boot cd:\\yaboot
The installer should then boot and it'll actually install yaboot on your
machine and give further instructions on how to set it as your default
boot path.
This assumes you're installing from a CD.
