No necessarily, the "tbxi" ofboot doesn't work on some machines. I sent
Vincent a fix a couple of days ago that works for him now, and I was
waiting for another user's feedback and then I was going to relase a
patched ybin.
That said, you should still be able to use hd,X:\\yaboot.
You could also try using:
http://www.linuxmafia.com/pub/linux/macos/pdisk-ppc-macos.hqx
to examine the partition table on the Mac side to find out where the
bootstrap resides. Mine looks like this:
