The question for 2.5 kernel is for the alsa integration. I'm not able to install the cooker via FTP or from hard disk. Via ftp the installer tells me that it can not find ppd in /sbin. I', not able to confirm or disconfirm it. If I download all directories from cooker for ppc to my hard disk the installer tells me that it can not find any module in modules.cz (that's right because at instsall time this file is zero in length). So I needed to do this question or can you (Stew) to make cooker CDs. None of these scripts helped e!

Looks like kernel-2.4.19.1mdk-1-1mdk.src.rpm can build on PPC, if you
change:

CONFIG_IEEE1394_AMDTP=m

to

# CONFIG_IEEE1394_AMDTP is not set

in kernel-2.4.19-ppc.config

So you would do:

rpm -i kernel-2.4.19.1mdk-1-1mdk.src.rpm
cd rpm/SOURCES
edit kernel-2.4.19-ppc.config
cd ../SPECS
rpm -bb kernel-24.spec

and wait some hours...

I just made that change and I'm building it for cooker, dunno if it will
build cleanly on 8.2 or not. If all goes well the cooker version will be
up this weekend.
